After more than 17 years in business, Knight Marketing is beginning a new chapter: it became part of a global marketing group, Imprezzio Media, on August 20, 2015 when it was acquired by the group’s Spokane, WA-based holding company, DaRK Capital. The company employs approximately 200 people in locations through North America and Europe.

With nearly two decades of brand equity, Knight Marketing will not change its name, brand or Sarasota headquarters. It will continue to be managed by Tracy Knight and Ticia Mahler. However, it will now have the full resources of Imprezzio Media including Imprezzio Marketing, AFS Web, Zoom CMS and Bad Kitty Studios. This adds deep expertise in media, digital marketing and SEO, web and app development to its service repertoire, as well as team members including two of the world’s 12 existing Google Local “Top Contributors” plus a large team of developers in Cluj, Romania—the so-called Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe. The firm also welcomed Agnieszka Wood as its newest account executive.
“By combining our strengths with Imprezzio’s, we now have a complete array of services and can seamlessly serve clients of any size, anywhere,” said Knight. “This was an ideal strategic match, and we are extremely pleased to be the newest member of this family of companies.”
Knight Marketing was founded in 1997 by Tracy Knight with the Cleveland Clinic as its original client. It grew into a respected healthcare marketing firm that has served clients in all facets of health and medicine including Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Vitas Healthcare, Synergy Health and multiple HMA, Tenet and HCA hospitals, as well as medical practices of all sizes, R&D firms, device companies and countless other industry suppliers.
